Terms of Service

Welcome to Ranked Padel. By downloading, installing, or using the Ranked Padel mobile application ("App") or visiting rankedpadel.com ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

To use most features, you must create an account using your email address or a third-party sign-in provider (Apple or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading match results
• Manipulate ratings, rankings, or leaderboard positions
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Ranked Padel offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Key details:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies
• We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile information, match data). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and process that content to provide and improve the App. Match results and statistics may be displayed to other users within your groups and on leaderboards.

6. ELO Ratings and Rankings

ELO ratings, XP progression, and tier rankings are calculated automatically by our algorithms. While we strive for accuracy, ratings are provided for recreational purposes and we make no guarantees about their precision. We reserve the right to adjust algorithms and recalculate ratings at any time.

7. Groups and Leagues

Group creators are responsible for managing their groups and ensuring fair play among members. We are not responsible for disputes between group members. Group creators can set their own group rules within the App's framework.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Ranked Padel and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any loss of data, rankings, or match history due to technical issues.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranked Padel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
