Ranked Padel ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Ranked Padel mobile application (the "App") and the website at rankedpadel.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and Site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optional profile photo.
• Authentication Data: If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from the provider. We do not store your third-party passwords.
• Match Data: Scores, match results, and statistics you submit through the App.
• Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, crash reports, and performance data to help us improve the App.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Calculate your ELO rating, XP progression, and tier ranking
• Display leaderboards and group standings
• Send push notifications (match updates, achievements, group activity)
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you
• Monitor usage patterns and fix bugs
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with servers located in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and at rest. While no system is 100% secure, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with the following third parties:

• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
• RevenueCat: Subscription management (if you subscribe to Pro)
• Sentry: Error tracking and crash reporting
• PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics
• Apple / Google: Push notification delivery

5. Public Information

Certain information is visible to other users within your groups, including your display name, profile photo, match results, ELO rating, XP level, tier, and leaderboard position. Head-to-head records are visible to both players involved.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized match statistics may be retained for leaderboard integrity.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Transfers

If you are located outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU where our servers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
